In order to respond to coronavirus infection-19 (COVID-19), the global fintech company Paygate is conducting telecommuting based on a remote work system for all employees except for those employees on duty.

Paygate has been implementing social distance keeping early, providing masks for all employees, keeping hand sanitizers in the office and more, as the coronavirus-19 confirmed cases began to exceed 1,000 in February.

At the end of February, the government put forward a contingency management policy by conducting partial telecommuting tests and as the rate of transmission continued to rise, it began to change its overall work style to telecommuting from 2nd of March.

Paygate, which has established a working environment so that communication between employees is seamless even when working from home, has entered remote work for employees except for the Seyfert Service Operations Team and System Control Team.

Based on the experiences in remote business cooperation with subsidiaries such as Vietnam, Hong Kong, Japan and Singapore, the company aims to complete the 24-hour service system on 7 days a week by taking advantage of the benefits of telecommuting.

Yoon Sun-rock, Director of the Service Operation Team, said, “Paygate, which leads the local fintech industry, was able to respond flexibly to the coronavirus infection-19 through telecommuting, by using the characteristics of non-face-to-face real-name transactions,” adding, “We will try to build a more advanced customer support system based on our telecommuting experience to make our customers more satisfied with our services.
