페이게이트, 핀테크 코스닥 입성 첫 주자 될까 지난달 30일 코스닥 예심청구…상반기 P2P 금융솔루션 판매 급증 소프트웨어 개발업체인 페이게이트가 국내 1호 핀테크 상장사에 도전한다. PG(Payment Gateway, 전자지불결제)로 금융업계에 첫 발을 내딛은 페이게이트는 자체 금융솔루션을 P2P서비스 업체에 B2B(기업대상) 형태로 판매하며 실적 성장을 일궈내고 있다. 5일 증권업계에 따르면 페이게이트는 지난달 30일 코스닥 상장예비심사를 청구하고 상장 절차에 돌입했다. 주관사는 미래에셋대우다. 페이게이트는 지난 1999년 설립한 신용카드 결제대행(PG)업체다. 결제대행서비스(PG), 외화송금, P2P(개인간거래)금융 API(응용프로그래밍인터페이스) 등의 서비스를 제공하고 있다. 페이게이트는 지난해 매출액 77억원, 영업이익 28억원, 당기순이익 18억원을 기록했다. 매출액은 전년 대비 5.7% 감소했으며 영업이익과 당기순이익은 각각 4%, 16.1% 감소했다. 올 상반기에는 매출액 74억원, 당기순이익 16억원으로 반기만에 지난해 연간 실적과 비슷한 성과를 거뒀다. 회사 측은 이미 성숙단계에 접어든 PG보다는 P2P금융이나 외화송금 서비스에 주력할 계획이다. 페이게이트는 P2P대출 기업에 집금·정산·에스크로(escrow) 등 전자결제에 필요한 서비스를 오픈 플랫폼 형태로 제공하고 있다. 핀테크 오픈 뱅킹 플랫폼인 '세이퍼트'는 이용자가 특별한 플러그인 설치없이도 자금 이체, 출금, 외화송금 등을 할 수 있다. 페이게이트 관계자는 "상반기 P2P금융 등 솔루션 판매 매출 비중이 전체 매출액의 약 60%에 달한다"며 "상장 후 PG보다는 수익성이 높은 세이퍼트 솔루션 개발에 주력할 계획"이라고 말했다. 현재 PG업계 상장사인 NHN한국사이버결제, KG이니시스, KG모빌리언스의 PER(주가순수익배율)이 10배 후반대에 형성되고 있다. 회사는 사업구조가 변화한만큼 올해 온기 순이익

박소영 페이게이트 대표, 100대 글로벌 여성 핀테크 리더 선정 핀테크 전문기업 페이게이트는 최근 자사의 박소영 대표가 세계 최대 규모의 핀테크 허브인 '래티스80'(LATTICE80)이 선정하는 100대 글로벌 여성 핀테크 리더에 뽑혔다고 14일 밝혔다. 페이게이트 측은 "래티스80은 모든 조직과 산업에 있어 여성 리더는 필수라는 생각을 하고 있다"면서 "특히 포용과 다양성을 가진 핀테크 분야의 특성상 여성 리더의 포진은 당연한 흐름이라는 입장을 가지고 있다"고 말했다. 래티스80 측은 지난 수십 년 동안 전통 뱅킹 및 주식, 자산운용 부문에서 여성 기업가가 주요 직책을 맡아왔기 때문에 핀테크 산업은 더 많은 여성 인력을 배출할 것이라고 전망했다. 박소영 대표는 1998년 페이게이트를 창업하고 2003년 핀테크 플랫폼 '세이퍼트'를 출시했다. 이를 통해 수천 개의 온라인 쇼핑몰 창업 및 국내 대다수의 P2P(개인 간 거래)랜딩기업, O2O(온·오프라인 연계)기업의 시장 진입을 도와왔다. 또한 월드핀테크협회를 설립해 협회장을 맡고 있다. 박 대표는 "페이게이트와 월드핀테크협회로 핀테크 생태계를 조성하는 데 이바지하겠다"고 말했다. 기사링크

서울시 모바일 해외송금 사업 첫 발...6월 본격 가동 서울시 외화송금 사업이 6월 본격 가동된다. 지난해 관련 법 제도가 정비되고 소액 해외송금 사업자가 기획재정부 인·허가를 받으며 사업에 물꼬를 텄다. 15일 업계에 따르면 서울시는 지난 14일 '모바일 소액외화송금 서비스' 시범사업자 접수를 마감했다. 지난해 시범사업자로 선정된 센트비와 페이게이트, 핀샷 3곳을 포함, 총 9개 업체가 신청했다. 해당 업체 모두 기재부에 소액해외송금업자 등록을 마쳤다. 서울시는 1차 서류심사와 2차 평가심의회 발표 심사를 거쳐 이달 말 시범사업자를 선정한다. 평가심의회는 민간 및 학계에서 선출된 외부위원으로 구성된다. 총 80점 이상을 받은 업체 중 4~5곳을 최종 선발한다. 선정 업체는 내달 초부터 바로 소액외화송금 솔루션 및 외화공금 관련 애플리케이션(앱) 제작과 모바일 소액외화송금 서비스 마케팅을 진행한다. 사업 기간은 내달부터 내년 5월까지 1년이다. 중간 평가를 통해 1년 단위로 연장 가능하다. 외국인근로자센터 6개소(강동, 금천, 성동, 성북, 양천, 은평) 및 다문화가족지원센터에 선정사업자 홍보 자료를 비치한다. 또, 외국인 근로자 관련 교육 시 현장 홍보 기회를 제공한다. 사업자와 추가 협의를 통해 마케팅·홍보 지원 범위를 확대할 예정이다. 서울시는 외국인 근로자의 해외 송금 수수료 부담을 덜기 위해 이번 사업을 실시했다. 지자체 중 최초다. 업계에서는 기존 은행 외화 송금 대비 40% 가까이 수수료를 내릴 수 있을 것이라고 보고 있다. 시범사업자는 30만명에 육박하는 서울시 거주 외국인 근로자에게 사업을 홍보할 수 있다. 센트비 등 지난해 선정된 사업자뿐 아니라 핑거, 모인 등 6개 업체가 신규 가세했다. 센트비는 국내 핀테크 기업 중 최다 협력 파트너십을 맺은 저력이 있다. 올 연말까지 24개국에 진출할 계획이다. 해외에서 한국으로 송금하는 '인바운드 송금' 사업에도 착수한다. 페이게이트는 최근 전
