Paygate held a meeting with partnered companies due to the enforcement ordinance of the Finance Act of Online Investment, which passed the plenary session of the National Assembly on March 31.

 

About 40 representatives and officials from 25 partnered companies attended the meeting. PayGate collected some feedbacks and had a meaningful time in the meeting, which helps report various opinions from online investment financial companies to the financial authorities.

 

Paygate announced on Nov. 11th that it invited partnered companies to PayGate Seyfert Center on 8th to give guidance on the overall progress and legal concerns of online investment finance and held a communication meeting to promote the development of online investment finance business and market revitalization with collected feed backs from partnered companies.

 

PayGate also outlined the “Third Party Separated Storage Service” and guided partnered companies to upgrade their systems and service directions to improve their operating environment. In addition, PayGate proposed the promotion and prepared patents for use in product planning or business through its own know-how.

 

“We will work actively to collect various opinions from partnered companies to upgrade the system and improve the service quality so that partnered companies that use PayGate's Seyfert System and Platform Services can grow together,” said Ms. Meanwhile, PayGate's Seyfert system with a third-party storage service is used by nearly 80% of domestic P2P financial companies, and various efforts and technology development have been made to improve the quality of services. "We will continue to communicate with the Financial Services Commission and the Financial Supervisory Service so that various opinions from partnered companies can be reflected in the enforcement of the Online Investment Finance Act, and we will also submit some opinions collected in the meeting."

금융당국에 온라인투자연계금융 기업의 다양한 의견 반영돼

페이게이트가 지난달 31일 국회 본회의를 통과한 ‘온라인투자연계금융업 및 이용자 보호에 관한 법률’(이하 온라인투자연계금융법) 시행령과 관련해 연계 회원기업과의 간담회를 가졌다.

이번 간담회에서는 1차로 25개 회원기업 40여명의 대표님 및 담당자들이 참석했다. 이를 통해 페이게이트는 현장의 목소리를 청취하고 금융당국에 온라인투자연계금융 기업의 다양한 의견이 반영될 수 있는 뜻 깊은 시간을 가졌다.

페이게이트는 지난 8일 페이게이트 세이퍼트 센터에서 회원기업들을 초청해 온라인투자연계금융의 시행령 준비와 관련해 전반적인 진행상황과 법률 내용에 대해 자세히 안내하고 회원기업들의 목소리를 통해 온라인투자연계금융 사업의 발전과 시장 활성화를 위한 소통 간담회를 개최했다고 11일 밝혔다.

아울러 페이게이트의 '투자금 제3자 분리보관 서비스'에 대한 개략적인 설명과 회원기업들의 운영환경 개선을 위한 시스템 고도화 및 서비스 방향에 대해서도 안내했다. 또한 자신만의 노하우를 통해 상품기획이나 비즈니스에 활용할 수 있도록 특허를 추진하고 마련하는 부분에 대한 제안도 진행하였다.

페이게이트 박소영 대표는 “페이게이트의 ‘세이퍼트 시스템 및 플랫폼 서비스’를 사용하는 회원기업들이 함께 성장할 수 있도록 시스템 고도화와 서비스의 퀄리티를 높이기 위해 다양한 시도와 회원기업들의 의견을 적극 청취하겠다”고 말했다.

페이게이트는 이후에도 온라인투자연계금융법 시행령에 회원기업들의 다양한 의견이 반영될 수 있도록 꾸준하게 금융위원회 및 금융감독원과 소통할 것이고, 이번 간담회를 통해 수렴된 의견에 대해서도 잘 정리해서 제출할 계획이라고 말했다.

한편, 페이게이트의 투자금 제 3자 분리보관 서비스인 '세이퍼트 시스템'은 국내 P2P 금융기업들 중 80%에 가까운 기업이 사용하고 있으며, 다양한 시도와 기술개발을 통해 서비스의 퀄리티를 향상하기 위한 노력을 하고 있다. 더불어 플랫폼과 세이퍼트 시스템이 함께 연결되어 더욱 안정되게 운영되고 관리되도록 사업의 영역을 플랫폼 구축사업으로 확장하였고 신규창업 기업들의 불편함을 해소하는데 일익을 담당하므로 온라인투자연계금융업의 시장 활성화에 기여하고 있다.
