Enhanced from USD 3,000 to USD 5,000 per transfer giving much convenience to customers.


To create much convenience for the customers, PayGate, a global remittance company, enhanced the maximum amount for personal remittance from USD 3,000 to USD 5,000 per transfer.

PayGate used to process the payments below USD 3,000 with thoroughgoing CDD (KYC) authentication, blacklist check, and PEPS & Sanction check.

With the consolidation of process, PayGate announced on 23rd that the maximum amount for personal remittance was enhanced to USD 5,000 per transfer to create a much convenient and stable remittance system for customers.



"We will make efforts in providing a globally competitive system to let more partners and customer use PayGate's Seyfert remittance network , while in compliance with FIU, Bank of Korea, and Ministry of Economy and Finance (MOEF)," said Dong-san Lee, CTO of PayGate.

Paygate is currently working with a number of global remittance companies such as PayPal and Transferwise, and it establishes a global netting center through its subsidiary, Paygate Hong Kong, and complies with AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and FDS (Financial Detection) system to create a high level of security but with efficiency and valuation.

In addition, Paygate is planning to lead the Asian remittance market with its subsidiaries in Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Nepal.

Based on its Fintech platform "Seyfert," PayGate also applies different business models in various fields such as cross-border payment, remittance, collection, currency exchange and escrow.
