PayGate, P2P Investors Forum Rounded Off


PayGate (Soyeong Park, CEO) held the forum on the 19th in Seoul Jamsil Lotte World Tower (31st Floor, Auditorium Convention Room) and invited P2P investors to discuss about the issues and directions for an overall P2P development.

There were about 80 people participated in the forum including experts, investors, and users of Seyfert platform.

“The ultimate responsibility for investing in P2P financial products goes to the investors themselves. Therefore, it’s important to check and investigate the products through various solutions,” said Moon Jong-jin, a Professor at Myongji University, specialized in Financial Supervisory Service.

Besides, he mentioned “It’s necessary to investigate the debtors such as responsibility for redemption of debts, investment in his own capital, ratios and sources (related to other institutions of debt), valuation of loan management system and repayment plan, professionalism and reliability of P2P loan brokers. We should also keep in mind that high returns come correspondingly along with high risk.”

The presentation included introduction of funds and data flow on Seyfert platform and the future of Seyfert development. At last, there was also a free time of discussion about issues and events for investors.

During the discussion, Soyeong Park said, “The feedback from our Seyfert platform users of P2P financial companies will lead the direction in our development and we will regularly have this kind of forum to improve our service according to the opinions we receive from the investors."

"We will maintain the neutrality as a platform provider and strengthen our due diligence on P2P business. We will monitor and track legally for the suspicious transactions as well," said Park.

 Neoprame, a securities solution company, announced that it will join hands with Paygate to build a platform specializing in asset trading.
